This American version of the 1970s Make-a-face, based on the perennial favorite Mr. Potatoe Head, is extremely rare. That's because the company had to pull it off the market when serious questions about safety were raised. The set consists of a number of small pieces, and there was fear that small children could choke on them. In addition to recalling it because of the choking hazard, the compony also experienced problems with packaging because it was not holding together correctly. Bottem line for collectors:This is a vary rare pez. It is extremely hard to find a complete face with all the pieces and in its original packaging.
